Convert text case

Convert text between UPPERCASE, lowercase, Title Case, Sentence case, camelCase, PascalCase, snake_case and kebab-case — free, as you type, in your browser.

Converted as you type — nothing leaves your device.

Ten case styles in one converter: UPPERCASE, lowercase, Title Case, Sentence case, camelCase, PascalCase, snake_case, kebab-case, aLtErNaTiNg case and inverted case. Everything converts as you type with no button to press, and the text never leaves your browser — paste a paragraph, a whole document or a list of identifiers and watch every style update instantly.

For writers, Title Case capitalises the first letter of every word while keeping the rest of each word lower (acronyms you typed as ALL CAPS come back as Title Case, not mangled), and Sentence case rebuilds normal sentence rhythm — capitalising after periods, question marks, exclamation points and line breaks. They are the fastest way to fix a headline or a passage that arrived in the wrong case.

For developers, one word splitter powers the code styles: separators and camel humps both resolve to the same word list, so HTTP status code, http_status_code, httpStatusCode and http-status-code all round-trip to each other — convert a config value, a database column or a JSON key set between snake_case, camelCase and kebab-case without hand-editing. Acronym boundaries are respected: parse XML string becomes parseXmlString, not parseXmlstring.

Frequently asked questions

Which styles can I convert between?
Ten: uppercase, lowercase, Title Case, Sentence case, camelCase, PascalCase, snake_case, kebab-case, aLtErNaTiNg and inverted case. Pick a style above the output and the conversion updates as you type.
How does camelCase handle underscores or hyphens?
Separators and capital-letter humps are both word boundaries, so user_profile_page, user-profile-page, UserProfilePage and userProfilePage all become the same words first — then the chosen style rejoins them. That is why the conversion round-trips cleanly in every direction.
Is my text uploaded anywhere?
No. The conversion runs entirely in your browser tab as you type — the text is never sent to a server, which also means the tool keeps working offline once the page has loaded.
