Generate mirror text
Mirror any text — reversed order with mirrored Unicode lookalike letters, ready to paste into bios, messages and designs. Free, instant, in your browser.
Write like a reflection: letters swap for their mirrored Unicode lookalikes and the order reverses, so a word reads correctly when held to a mirror — Leonardo's notebook, made of pasteable characters. Use it for puzzles, bios, names and eye-catching comments.
The mirror map uses credible lookalikes where Unicode has them (r → ɿ, s → ꙅ, R → Я) and leaves letters without a mirrored form unchanged — an honest partial mirror rather than a broken one. Everything pastes as plain text into any Unicode field.
Output updates as you type and copies with one click, all in your browser. For a full 180° rotation instead of a reflection, the upside-down converter is the sibling page.
Frequently asked questions
- What's the difference between mirror and upside-down text?
- Mirror text is flipped left-to-right — what you'd see in a reflection. Upside-down text is rotated 180°. Both use Unicode lookalike characters and both paste anywhere; pick by which visual trick you're after.
- Why are some letters not mirrored?
- Unicode has no mirrored form for every Latin letter — letters like m, n and o look (nearly) the same either way, and a few have no lookalike at all. Those pass through unchanged; the text stays readable and honest.
- Does mirror text work in Instagram or Discord?
- Yes — these are ordinary characters, so they render in any text field: bios, comments, nicknames, messages. Rendering detail varies slightly by platform font, the characters themselves don't.
